About Savory Institute
The Savory Institute is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring the world’s grasslands and improving livelihoods through regenerative agriculture. Founded in 2009, the Institute works across continents to combat land degradation, climate change, and biodiversity loss by promoting holistic land management practices.
Inside–Outside Holistic Management is an integrated approach to regenerative agriculture that recognizes true transformation begins both within the individual (mindset, values, decision-making) and on the land (soil, water, biodiversity, livestock systems).
This approach builds on the principles of Holistic Management, emphasizing that sustainable farming outcomes depend on aligning human behavior with natural ecosystem processes.
